Garnet granules are used under very high pressure to etch and engrave the glass. When this process is complete, the pieces are signed and dated by the artists. |

Jim & Connie Grant have been collaborative glassblowing partners since 1972. The Grants both earned their degrees from U.C. Berkeley. Today they make unique vessels and perfume bottles in vivid colored glass. Some have carved silver glass overlays, others are wrapped with copper knots and weaves. They create unique vessels, using multiple layers of molten, colored and clear glasses on the blowpipe. Their work is included in public and private collections throughout the U.S. and abroad. Corporate and Private Collections include: Johnson & Johnson Este Lauder Wheaton Village Museum. NJ. Byer Museum of the Arts, Ill. Kansas City Museum, Missouri Carnegie Cultural Arts Center, Ca. Kirstie Alley Elton John Heather Locklear They were commissioned to create work for Star Trek Voyager. (All shipping will be paid by the buyer, and is not included in the prices shown above.
