Bonnie Belt Ceramic Bonsai Trees
| This is Bonnie at the Palo Alto ACGA Clay and Glass Festival 2005. (It was funny because all of the guests in the booth ran out so Bonnie could have her picture taken and ran back in as soon as they heard the click of the camera.) |
| A Beautiful Cypress Meditation piece. |
| Cypress Cut-away Bowl |
| Cypress Bonsai Tree Tea Pot Sculpture. |
| Cypress Bonsai Tree Cut Away Vase. |
Bonnie started working in clay over 25 years ago. When she graduated from Cal Poly University, Pomona, she attended Mojave Valley College and Victor Valley College. To enhance her surface brush work, Bonnie studied for two years with master oriental brush painter Ning Yeh, and attended workshops with Paul Soldner, Tom and Elaine Coleman, Ken Ferguson and Don Reitz. |

| Ceramic Cypress Bonsai Tree Sculpture. |
| Cypress Tree Pedestal Jar. |
Bonnie shows her work throughout the year in fine art and craft fairs in the West and her work can be seen in galleries in California, Oregon, Idaho and Arizona. She was featured in December 2003 in the national magazine "Clay Times" and has just finished taping an HGTV segment for "The Carol Duval Show" for next season. |
| Ceramic Wave Vase. |
| This Vase Can be used to Chill Wine, Just add ice and use the lid for a table display. |
With white stoneware, Bonnie uses the vessel form as the foundation for her sculptural impressions of the North Coast. The pieces are first fired to cone 06, airbrushed and painted with a low fire engobe stain before being fired a second time. Some pieces are then smoke-fired in sawdust, redwood needles and other organic materials to create unique flame pattern on the piece. |
| Ceramic Grape Vine with purple sculptural grapes. |
Bonnie's thrown forms have evolved since relocating from Southern California. "I soon discovered that the landscapes and especially the trees, expressed the enduring, fragile existence of nature, which I wanted to communicate in my work." |
| A Ceramic Sculpture with a twisted Grapevine with beautiful bark and grapes in the circle." |

| Ceramic Hollow Trunk Cypress Bonsai Tree Sculpture. |
