Bill Fenwick's Gallery - Interior Design Resource.

Bill Fenwick was born in Southern California in 1938 and from a young age he loved to paint. He began his formal art instruction at the Pasadena Museum of Art. Bill's commitment to the arts continued until he received a Masters of Art Degree from Cal State University at Los Angeles in 1973.

Between 1973 and 1984, he painted and exhibited abstract art in several local galleries and museums in southern California. Bill was a founding member of a cooperative gallery in Pasadena. He enjoyed success in this venture for a number of years.

In the 1990's Bill continued his study of art with renewed dedication. He made a fundamental shift in aesthetics to a type of Plein Aire painting using Acrylic paints.

Bill also enjoys painting the beautiful coastal water areas as well as inland valleys.

His paintings also included a series of agricultural vistas of Salinas Valley and cut-flower fields around Pajaro Valley, and the Elkhorn Slough. These paintings are colorful, attractive and complement good living.

Since 1990 Bill has completed workshops with prominent landscape artists at Scottsdale Artist's School and attended weekly studio classes under Martha Saudek for a period of four years.

Bill now lives on the Central Coast of California and has became a member of: National Artist Equity Association, Pajaro Valley Arts Council, and The Santa Cruz Art League. Bill's work was recently chosen to be included into the Napa Valley Museum's collection.
